Book your place at the Festival of Learning!

The Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth Roderic O’Gorman T.D. today launched the What Works Festival of Learning, a series of four virtual events which put a spotlight on prevention and early intervention.  The Centre for Effective Services has been working with the Department to plan, organise and promote the series. The Festival runs from Monday November 15th until Wednesday November 24th.

The theme of this year’s Festival is ‘Fairer Futures’, with events focusing on disadvantage, its impact on children, families and communities and how policy and services can address it. Key international speakers and contributors to the sessions include Minister Roderic O’Gorman, Professor Kate Pickett (University of York), Olivier Thévenon (OECD Centre for Well-Being, Inclusion, Sustainability and Equal Opportunity), Professor Mark Brown (National Digital Learning Centre at DCU), and Massimiliano Mascherini (Eurofound).

Events are free but booking is essential!
