Save the dates for What Works Festival of Learning!
Last year the first Festival of Learning took place and we’re delighted to announce that it’s back for 2021.
Four virtual events will take place on Monday November 15th, Wednesday November 17th, Monday November 22nd and Wednesday November 24th.
This year’s festival focuses on the theme of disadvantage and its impact on children and families, and how prevention and early intervention can address it. As Ireland emerges from the pandemic, what do we know now about disadvantage? What can we learn from good practice internationally? And what do new initiatives such as the EU Child Guarantee mean for children and families in Ireland?
Keynote speakers already confirmed include Professor Kate Pickett (University of York, UK) and Professor Mark Brown (Director of the National Centre for Digital Learning, DCU). More speakers to be announced in the coming weeks.
